
CLIFTON B. SOBEL, JR., grew up in Nashville, and he graduated from David Lipscomb High School. He attended Middle Tennessee State University, where in 1991 he was awarded a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Political Science. Mr. Sobel attended the Nashville School of Law and earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1995. Mr. Sobel was admitted to the Supreme Court of Tennessee and the United States Federal Courts that same year. In 1999 Mr. Sobel was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Sobel is an active member of the Nashville Bar Association, the Rutherford County-Cannon County Bar Association, and the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Mr. Sobel maintains a litigation practice, focusing primarily on criminal matters, such as Driving Under the Influence, felony and misdemeanor drug charges, probation violation and other crimes. Ben Moore, II, was born April 14, 1975, in Clarksville, Tennessee where he
attended Northeast High School. Mr. Moore then went on to play football at
Austin Peay State University where he earned his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in
Political Science in 1998. Mr. Moore also attended the Nashville School of Law
and was awarded a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2002. While in law school, he was a
Law Clerk for the firm Finch & McBroom. Upon graduating he continued his
affiliation with Finch & McBroom until the formation of Sobel, Poss & Moore in
February 2004. Mr. Moore is licensed to practice in all Tennessee Courts,
including the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Tennessee. He is also
licensed in the United States Federal Courts. Mr. Moore is an active member in
the Nashville Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, Tennessee
Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Governor’s Club at his alma
mater.

Jennifer Sheppard is a native Nashvillian and she graduated from Hillwood High School in 1997. She completed her undergraduate studies in Political Science and Child and Family Studies, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 2000. While attending the University of Tennessee, Ms. Sheppard was a member of the Phi Eta Gamma Honor Society, the Gamma Beta Phi Honor Society, the Golden Key Honor Society, and the UT Women's Rugby team. Ms. Sheppard attended the Nashville School of Law and earned the degree of Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2005. Ms. Sheppard was admitted to practice in all Tennessee Courts October 25, 2005. Ms. Sheppard is a new member of the Nashville Bar Association, Young Lawyers Division.
